At Rite Way Restoration & Remodeling, we take every project we do personally. Whether it is water damage, fire, smoke, mold, or bio-hazard, we approach each project as if it were our own.

Remodeling is a big step and a commitment in many people’s lives – from the time they begin to think about the project to the time it gets done. We ensure the whole process goes as smoothly as possible. We begin every project by introducing our 5-step design process to our clients to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Step One:
Initial Meeting – This is the phase where we sit down and talk about what you want to create. Although we trust our design team to create an amazing, well-thought-out design, we can’t always guess what you’re picturing in your mind. Please bring any fabric samples, pictures, or other inspirations to the meeting (Pinterest boards are a lot more helpful than you think)! We allocate 90 minutes for our initial design meeting.

Step Two:
Preliminary Design – In this step, we take our notes from the initial meeting and convert them into visuals. Taking your wants into consideration, our design team will create 3D renderings of the designated areas using ProKitchen, Revit, or SketchUp, depending on the needs of your project, in order to help you visualize your new remodeled space!

Step Three:
Second Meeting – We’ll come back to you with a game plan. This may include sketches, swatches, and/or renders so you can see what our designers are thinking in 3D! This is a very important step in the design process, we encourage you to really take your time while looking over the proposed design. This is the time to get answers to the questions you may have and make changes to your design if needed. We want your honest opinion so we can create your dream space during your remodel! Just like our initial meeting, we allocate 90 minutes for our second meeting.

Step Four:
Design Development – Just like step two, we listen to you! We take the comments we received from you at the second meeting, take both your wants and needs into considerations, and tweak our design (if needed) to have it fit your style and aesthetic.

Step Five:
Final Design – We present your final design via email and get the go-ahead to start working on your dream remodel project!

Although we understand each project is different and unique on its own, and some may require more attention than others, we try our best to stick to this 5-step design to ensure everything gets done timely and efficiently both on our and your end. There are few things you can do as the client to help us out through the remodeling process.

There are few things you can do as the client to help us out through the remodeling process.

  • Don’t get carried away! Be realistic regarding your budget versus your wants. What are the things that are a must for you? Remodeling is rather bigger of a commitment, do you want to fix up some of the things you’ve been putting off as well or just focus on a specific remodel? Are you willing to up your budget or minimize your wants? Of course, we all want the best of the best and sometimes get carried away, but it is important to stay on track to ensure we stay within the projected timeframe.
  • Make sure you love your selections! Our designer will make suggestions of materials and/or fixtures for you, but remember, at the end of the day this is your remodel and we want you to pick what you love. Our suggestions are there to guide you regarding color and style, we won’t be going to pick out materials with you unless you specify. The sooner you solidify your selections, the sooner your project will begin.
  • Be available with open communication. We will be transparent with you on our end and we hope the same from you. If you have a question or are unsure about anything, shoot us an email! You don’t want to just assume, clarity is key! The best way to keep track of everything is via email, for the most part, it is the easiest way to reach us too!

To ensure we stay on a deadline, we won’t begin the demo until we have all of your selections here in our shop. We prefer to order your selections to ensure we order the correct items in the correct quantities needed and so that the whole process is as easy as possible for you. So the process goes as follows, you finalize your materials, we order them, store them at our warehouse, start the project and then transport the materials/fixtures to the site as needed.
